Partners Engaging Gray School (PEGS)

Partners Engaging Gray School (PEGS) partnership has been in development since September 2011, and culminated in the signing of a formal cooperation agreement in June 2012.

PEGS comprises of nine organisations working together ‘to encourage, support and empower the Gray School Community to access quality school and community services’.

Gray Primary School had been working for some time with a number of partners to involve and support parents and families in the school community, with a range of programs and services including The Gray Family Centre.  With the assistance and support of The Smith Family a partnership of 9 organisations has developed, where partners continue to do their own thing, but now coordinate their efforts and also take action as a partnership to have a greater impact.

The partners come together as a group at least once each term, and collaborate to promote stronger family and community involvement in the Gray School community, work closely with the Gray Primary School Council, and coordinate services and programs to ‘to encourage, support and empower the Gray School Community to access quality school and community services’.
