F.A.S.T - Families and Schools Together

The FAST Program is an 8 week program held at our school one evening per week. 

The FAST Program:

• Strengthens families
• Teaches children to respect their parents
• Gives parents time to share ideas and help each other
• Helps make strong links between the family, the school and the community
• Promotes community service and voluntary participation
• Guides parents in building personal success assets in their kids

FAST helps you to:

• Help your child do well at school
• Make your child feel good about themselves
• Help your child to have good friendships
• Feel less alone as a parent
• Think about the good things you are doing for your child
• Talk and listen to each other

The FAST Program is fun for the whole Family. The first hour is ‘Family time’, we eat and do some fun activities at the table. The second hour is ‘peer time’, the kids have a great time doing art, sport, dance and cooking activities while the mums and dad enjoy a coffee and yarn together. The last half hour is family time again with some special play, announcements and the drawing of the door prize.
