Upper Primary

Our team is committed to providing students with the knowledge, skills and resources required to be active participants in the community. We strive to improve educational outcomes through engaging lessons and quality teaching. We aim to meet the needs of all our students.

The Australian Curriculum enables high expectations to be set for each student as teachers account for the current levels of learning of individual students. Teachers also recognise the differing levels and capabilities that individuals have. Students have access to a curriculum that enables them to explore and understand the world in which they live and to experience a connection with the world beyond.

Students at Gray Primary School in Year 4,5, and 6 have the opportunity to participate in music workshops ranging from, drumming, guitar and ukulele lessons.

Primary students have access to a wide variety of technology enabling them to develop research skills and communicate with the outside world, through the use of computers and student laptops. Students in year 4-6 have the opportunity to apply for a digital literacy classroom which enables them to become effective and confident users of digital technologies.
